How long will the photographer attend my social event?
Each event is different but as a guideline for portraits taken at a dinner dance, the photographer will normally set up at least 30 minutes before and start taking photographs as the guests arrive in all their finery. The photographer will normally leave when the guests sit down for dinner. If the event is a charity auction then the photographer will usually stay to capture the excitement of this. We will of course discuss timings with you prior to the event.
If I am holding a charity event will your company make a donation?
In cases where we are taking pictures of couples on arrival to sell that same evening then we will offer a percentage of our sales as a donation towards your chosen charity.
Who owns the copyright for the images taken?
Jems Photography will retain the copyright on each image but will offer you the right to buy individual images for single use or offer you the chance to buy the copyright for multiple use of that image.
Are you restricted to a certaing geographical area when it comes to travelling to events?
Jems photographers are happy to travel to events although any event outside of Leicestershire, Warwickshire and Northamptonshire will be subject to reasonable travelling expensives.
